AFORE launches Ethernet mobile backhaul software

Ethernet and cloud computing software provider AFORE solutions has launched a new software solution to support enhanced Ethernet mobile backhaul applications.
 
The InterPort Ethernet Mobile Backhaul software suite consists of standards-compliant modules including Service OAM and Service Assurance.
 
The modules provide synthetic frames-based performance management capable of supporting the multipoint Ethernet backhaul configuration required for LTE deployments.
 
Supported standards include MEF Service OAM PM and FM drafts, MEF UNI 2.2, IEEE 802.1ag, ITU Y1731 and ITU Y156sam.
