Apple and Google drop plastic surgery apps

Apple and Google have cut out a mobile game that encouraged children to perform plastic surgery.

The companies dropped the app, which was sold as suitable for children aged nine years and over and offered the ability to perform incisions and liposuction on a girl described as "ugly" on Google Play.

Critics say the games are sexist, and enforce a negative body image.
