CSL has launched Surya Citra Televisi to customers of their SIM service “Hemat,” dedicated for Indonesian expatriates living in Hong Kong. Supplied by SpeedCast in mobile format, this channel provides an array of entertainment content for Indonesian communities worldwide.

MasterCard launches MoneySend for BlackBerry

MasterCard Worldwide has launched Its MoneySend service for BlackBerry smartphones, available for free download on BlackBerry App World. MoneySend allows users in the US to send or request money person-to-person via their BlackBerry through participating banks and credit unions or when they create a virtual prepaid account through Bancorp Bank.

Bing for Android debuts on Verizon

The first official Bing for Mobile Android App is now available to Verizon customers. The app homepage features the Bing image of the day, complete with clickable hotspots that one can explore and discover related trivia.

Twitter mobile usage up 62%

The number of mobile users of Twitter has jumped 62% since mid-April, with about one out of every six new users starting on mobile as opposed to one out of every 20 at the onset. According to the people behind the micro-blog platform, 46% of active users make mobile a regular part of their Twitter experience.
