BSNL has deployed TeleDNA's service delivery platform in the South zone to manage the provision of 3G VAS.

The platform aims to converge legacy, 2.5G and 3G services to support the conversion of mobile applications into carrier-grade services.

This can pave the way for an IMS-compatible services platform where multimedia services can be delivered across all types of access networks.

The operator said the platform will allow it to integrate multiple messaging platforms, mobile content and applications, while managing its range of services through unified network access.
