CA Technologies has appointed Lionel Lim to the role of president of Asia Pacific, effective August 30, 2010.
Lim will be responsible for growing CA's business in Asia.
Rick Chau has meanwhile been named vice president for Greater China. He will be in charge of developing and optimizing the company’s channel partnerships and sales penetration in the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Prior to joining CA Technologies, Lim spent 20 years at Sun Microsystems and 10 years at HP. He held a variety of management and sales roles, including president and COO, Sun Microsystems Asia Pacific and president of Sun Asia South, Greater China and Japan.
A 25-year IT veteran, Chau was most recently managing Director, Asia North for Compuware Asia Pacific.
