Cathay Life Insurance turned to wireless technology to enhance the productivity of its 26,000 agents across 300 agent offices. Working with the Intel's Asia Pacific Solutions Group, the company built a WLAN security authentication system, including Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) environment, to meet the stringent industry regulations concerning protection of personal information and online transaction. Cathay Life plans to extend the mobility experience to its 400 offices nationwide.
