CommScope revealed on Monday it signed an agreement to acquire Australian antenna solutions firm Argus Technologies for an undisclosed sum.

The deal – which is expected to be completed at the end of Q3 this year – will enable CommScope to broaden its antenna solutions portfolio, strengthen its global market presence and accelerate its growth in the wireless market, said Navin Vohra, CommScope’s VP of wireless sales for Asia Pacific and India.

It will also deepen CommScope’s R&D capabilities, Vohra added. “Argus is well respected for its innovation and R&D expertise.”
