Dtac launches operator billing for WP

Dtac and Nokia have launched the Nokia 625 Windows Phone and the first operator billing tie-up for Windows Phone Marketplace in Thailand.

Dtac is teaming up with Gameloft for the launch of operator billing offering titles such as Assassin’s Creed 2 and Let’s Golf 2 at just 35 baht ($1.10) with numerous titles at 50% off.

The telco is also offering many packages at 50% off for all Nokia Lumia phones for 12 months. For the entry level phones is offering a new 299 baht ($9.50) package with 100 minutes and unlimited data.

As for the Lumia 625 itself, the device is launched coincide with the latest Amber update for WP8. It features an entry-level spec of 4.7” 800x480 pixels, a sensitive screen that can be used with gloves, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of flash storage that can be augmented with a micro SD card. The smartphone is priced at 6999 baht ($225).
