America Movil subsidiary Claro-Enitel has introduced wireless internet wideband and data transmission services to its portfolio of services supported by an OSS platform provided by Open Systems.

Enitel is using Open Systems' SmartFlex platform to offer convergent services, using the platform to gain an integrated view of the bundled services it offers.

The operator already used SmartFlex to manage its cable TV HFC, ADSL, Internet HFC, fixed telephony and IP telephony services.

Enitel serves over 2.5 million customers in Nicaragua through its Claro brand, of which around 300,000 are on bundled plans.
