China Mobile’s Guangdong subsidiary has picked Nokia Siemens Networks to help it deliver an improved customers experience to its some 95 million subscribers in China.

Guangdong Mobile will use NSN’s customer and business analysis suite for a project called Signaling Data Sharing Platform. The scheme aims to improve the cellco’s insight into subscriber usage and preferences, which it will then use to provide targeted services in a bid to boost customer loyalty and, in turn, revenues.

NSN will provide a solution that aggregates and analyzes data from all elements related to network and service quality, to enable Guangdong Mobile to offer personalized, targeted, actions covering customer acquisition and marketing campaigns.

Guangdong Mobile will commence the commercial deployment of the NSN solution in February, the vendor states.
