Haruno Yoshida named president of BT Japan

BT has appointed Haruno Yoshida to oversee the company’s business operations in Japan.

As president of BT Japan, Yoshida will be responsible for driving growth strategy and execution in this key market.

She comes to BT from Verizon Business, where she was general manager leading the company’s enterprise sales.

Yoshida has 20 years of global sales experience in the communications industry.

In the 2000’s, she was a sales manager for the Japanese incumbent operator, NTT, both in Japan and the US, charged with responsibility to expand NTT’s IP business in global scale by opening up Japanese MNC market in the US and non-Japanese MNC market in Japan.

In 1990’s Haruno worked for Westel Communications in Canada as a marketing manager and promoted its voice and data services to Japanese enterprises and consumers in Canada.
