Huawei has been named as an APAC founding member of the Uptime Institute Network by the Uptime Institute, a research and consulting group specializing in the global data center industry.

In a statement, the body said Huawei is expected to strengthen Uptime’s growing global influence with its telecom data center design, integrated construction and maintenance experience.

Huawei has over 20,000 square meters of data centers across more than 20 facilities worldwide, including master data centers in Shenzhen and Dongguan, in addition to its disaster recovery center in Nanjing.
