Avaya has promoted John Wang to the position of managing director for Greater China.
In his new role, Wang will take expanded responsibilities from his previous position of managing director of China, heading up Avaya’s operations in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
He will continue to be based out of Shanghai, China, and report to Francois Lancon.
Prior to Avaya, Wang had held different management roles at Cisco, Nortel and Unisys.
