Internet security specialist McAfee has appointed John Thode as executive vice president and general manager to develop and execute the strategy and bookings model for the company’s consumer, mobile and small business unit.
He will report directly to co-president Todd Gebhart and is based in Illinois, US, the company said.
Thode has over 30 years of experience in the wireless infrastructure and consumer handset business.
Before joining McAfee, he was most recently the GM of the consumer products group at Dell.
