NTT Communications is to offer a cloud security service for business.
On February 1, NTT Com will launch a cloud-based solution that will enable enterprise customers “to quickly begin performing continuous vulnerability scans and risk management for network equipment, servers and other IT resources,” the company said.
“It has become increasingly important to protect corporate IT resources from the threat of malicious attacks, as well as to fulfill internal security policies and external compliance requirements,” it added.
“With NTT Com’s new cloud-based service, named the Biz Security Vulnerability Management, companies now can introduce and operate a vulnerability management system on a quick, easy and relatively low-cost basis.”
There will be a one-off fee of 300,000 yen ($3,342) for system installation and setup and the flat monthly fee of 1,300,000 yen includes unlimited usage.
Key services include updated vulnerability signatures released automatically for internet and intranet audits.
