PayPal’s Mobile Payments Library is now available for the Android, offering a quick and easy way to integrate payments into the Android apps being built.

It allows users to add checkout functionality for donations, personal payments, physical goods and services sold through apps on the Android phone without having to worry about keeping customers’ personal financial information secure.

PayPal also recently announced the open beta of Mobile Payments Library for the iPhone, which the developer community is already using.

Also launched is the PayPal X Toolkit for Google App Engine, which is a platform for developing and running Web applications and services on Google Cloud.
