PCCW signs mobile deal with ESPN

PCCW Mobile and ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) have launched Mobile ESPN in Hong Kong, a new 3G mobile service featuring premium live world-class sports content.
 
Available exclusively to PCCW mobile customers, subscribers can access anytime, anywhere in Hong Kong, a stellar lineup of live world-class sports content such as the Formula One, SBK Superbikes, FA Cup, the AFC Champions League, Grand Slam tennis such as the Wimbledon and the Australian Open, as well as golf majors such as the US Open Championships and The Open Championship.
 
With the launch of Mobile ESPN, sport fans can now catch live sports from ESS across multiple platforms. The first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open which runs between January 16 and 29, is available on STAR Sports on television, in high definition on ESPN HD, online on ESPN Player covering up to 260 live matches across seven courts, and via live streaming on Mobile ESPN.
 
Football fans can also catch the highly-anticipated FA Cup fourth-round tie between Liverpool and Manchester United on January 28 across multiple platforms.
