Polycom strengthens APAC sales team

Unified communications solution provider Polycom has announced several additions to its sales and marketing team in Asia-Pacific.

Hansjoerg Wagner, president for Polycom Asia Pacific, has been promoted to senior vice president of global field operations. Based in Singapore, Hansjoerg’s role now includes global service sales, global sales processes, and Polycom’s global cloud initiative.

Steven Li remains vice president of China. Gary Testa has joined Polycom as vice president of the global cloud and service provider solutions group. Testa, will lead Polycom’s initiatives for cloud-based and mobility-based UC solution adoption.

Michael Chetner, current country manager for Australia and New Zealand, is now vice president of Asia Pacific (excluding China), while Paul Newell is vice president of Asia Pacific field operations.

Meanwhile, Kate Hutchison will join Polycom as the company’s new chief marketing officer and executive vice president in June. She will be reporting to Polycom President and CEO Andy Miller.
