Australia’s Presto has added support for smartphones to its movie and TV subscription streaming service in a bid to extend its reach into mobile devices.

The initial rollout of Presto on smartphones includes iPhone 5C, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus, as well as selected Android devices from Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony and ZTE.

IPhone users can download the Presto app for free from Apple’s App Store, while Android users can get the app from Google Play Store or Samsung App Store.

“It’s been just over a month since Presto TV landed on Android tablets and we’ve massively increased the number of devices you can use to enjoy Presto,” said Shaun James, director of Presto and On Demand. “We expect to make further announcements on even more devices soon.”

Presto TV, Presto Movies and the Presto Entertainment bundle are currently available for Windows PCs, Macs, iPads, select iPhones and Android devices, and via Google Chromecast.
