Globe Telecom said its senior advisor for consumer marketing Chee Loo Fun will leave the company on December 31.

Chee, who joined Globe in 2011 to lead the prepaid business, was instrumental in growing the Philippines telco’s consumer business. She also headed the strategic development of the revitalized Globe brand and its re-launch in late 2013.

Additionally, Globe's e-commerce subsidiary G-Xchange (GXI) has announced management changes with the resignation of its president, Paolo Baltao, effective immediately. Xavier Marzan has been appointed as GXI president concurrent to his role as GXI COO.

Baltao spent the last decade building the telco’s mobile commerce business, putting greater intensity in scaling up new businesses and equal emphasis on emerging opportunities around mobile payments, m-commerce, and mobile financial services.

Under his leadership, GXI has introduced products that are market firsts and are non-traditional of financial institutions such as Power Pay Plus, American Express Virtual Pay, and Globe Charge.
