Telefonica Group has opened a new office in Singapore, through its multinational business division Telefonica Global Solutions.

Telefonica Global Solutions plans to make the new office a central hub for its Asia-Pacific operations, in conjunction with its existing offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.

It will lead the company's delivery of managed IT, fixed mobile and unified communications to MNCs in the Asia-Pacific region.

Telefonica Global Solutions president Juan Carlos Lopez Vives said the company had set up the new office in response to the increasing business investments being made by the company's APAC customers.

“The opening of this new office in this strategically important region is a deep reflection of our intention to continue to invest in expanding and developing our relationships with our multinational customers in Asia Pacific,” he said.
