MediaCorp’s Toggle app is now available on Microsoft’s Xbox One game console, as part of efforts by the Singapore broadcaster to engage younger viewers.

“This collaboration puts us in a good position to reach out to varying audience groups, allowing our viewers to consume our content at their own pace, through the privacy of their own devices,” said Anil Nihalani, SVP of Toggle’s digital broadcast business.

With more than 20,000 on-demand titles, Toggle continues to offer the catch-up service and local content free of charge to registered users, subject to rights availability.

Due to online streaming rights, Toggle on Xbox One can only be accessed in Singapore, or overseas by users with a valid Singapore ID.

Subscribers can continue to watch episodes of their favorite dramas in advance with Toggle-It-First.

To enhance the user experience, Toggle has also introduced Kidszone, a special section created for kids with family-friendly content. Programs are organized in pictures for easy identification and selection.

Besides the Xbox One, users can also access Toggle through www.toggle.sg, smart TVs, as well as Android and iOS devices.
