Evolving technologies have brought about a paradigm shift in the Wi-Fi business models establishing itself as a genuine wireless access technology capable of delivering a ubiquitous internet experience.
With 3G setbacks due to congestion, providing the same user experience with the alternative technologies like Wi-Fi has becomes essential for communication service providers (CSPs). Taking that into consideration, CSPs worldwide are now restructuring their strategies with respect to Wi-Fi and are in the pursuit of monetization and optimization from Wi-Fi business models by offering the same value proposition as promised.
The Policy Manager in Wi-Fi has proved to be the perfect fit for managing the Wi-Fi network traffic along with their existing clogged networks. Policy in Wi-Fi will prove to be a new revenue generating model for CSPs along with enhancing their subscribers experience.
