ZTE launches IMS 6.0 solution for LTE

ZTE has launched its new-generation IMS 6.0 solution designed to meet the needs of current network transformation for 4G in mobile and fixed fields.

 

The IMS 6.0 solution offers a variety of multimedia solutions critical to successful 4G/LTE transformation -- converged conference, tele-presence, surveillance, gaming, streaming and rich communication suite.

 

The solution also provides enhanced policy-based resources and charging control functionality to alleviate issues with increased packet traffic.

 

The “solution deploys cloud computing and distributed design to reduce network complexity, improve system robustness and increase the efficiency of building networks with the lowest possible total cost of ownership," said Wang Xiaoqiang, general manager of ZTE's IMS product line.
