Vinicius Set to Extend Contract with Real Madrid

Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid is expected to extend his contract with the club in the near future, according to ESPN.

The new agreement for the 24-year-old player is expected to be valid until 2030. His annual salary will be 20 million euros, but it may rise to 30 million euros with bonuses included.

Vinicius has been with Real Madrid since 2018, and his current contract is valid until 2027. This season, he has played 50 matches across all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 16 assists.

On Sunday, May 11, Carlo Ancelotti's team lost to Barcelona 4-3 in a thrilling El Clasico match of the 35th round of La Liga. Following this defeat, Real Madrid sit second in La Liga with 75 points, seven points behind Barcelona.
