Gujarat Titans are building momentum with a hat-trick of wins, beating Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Sunrisers Hyderabad after starting with a defeat to Punjab Kings in their opener.

On Wednesday, they face Rajasthan Royals, who have two wins and two defeats in four matches and are thirsting to make it three in a row just like their opponents.
Gujarat winning three matches in a row means a lot of things are going well for them. So, what are those things have fallen in place for Gujarat Titans. Their off-spinning all-rounder Washington Sundar along with skipper Shubman Gill was the star of their win over Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sundar gave credit to the team's support staff for taking care of the players.
I mean credit to the whole support staff and also especially the bowling unit because they're very clear as to how they're going to turn up every single game against different opposition. They had the plans very clear against different batsmen, no matter where the venue might be. And we've been executing really well also the plans, especially with the ball.
"So that way, I mean for us to have restricted the team to less than 180 on three occasions already is amazing. And it obviously speaks of the quality that we've got in our bowling lineup and also how clear and confident our bowling lineup has been. So yes, we've been doing a lot of things right."
Sundar in his first outing in Indian Premier League 2025 scored 49 runs and shared a crucial partnership with Shubman Gill, helping them recover from 16/2 to reach 106/3, hoping for a miracle.
Gujarat will be hoping to continue with the momentum. They have a strong bowling attack with the likes of Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and B Sai Kishore with Rashid Khan and Washington Sundar making up their bowling unit.
They have some problems on the batting front as they seem too reliant on Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler. Sherfane Rutherford has made a few vital contributions. But the rest have not been as consistent.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, are finding their feet after starting with two defeats. They will be hoping for a big one by Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel. With Jofra Archer leaving for home, their bowling could be impacted a bit. Rashid Khan has not done well.
