Liverpool finished the UEFA Champions League matchday seven with a perfect winning record, having won all seven of their games so far, and they are currently at the top of the league phase table.
However, despite the strong start to the Champions League, the supercomputer has predicted that Arne's Slot team will not be lifting the trophy in May.
According to the supercomputer's analysis, after running 100,000 simulations, Arsenal is predicted to win the tournament. This prediction considers various factors, including all match results from last season, pre-season outcomes, and current season performances. The forecasting takes into account both pre-season expectations and expected goals (xG) earned for and against during the season.
According to The Sun, the supercomputer has predicted that Arsenal will win the Champions League this season, giving Mikel Arteta's team a 26.3 percent chance of victory in its simulations. Liverpool ranks second with a 21.6 percent probability, followed by Real Madrid in third place with 9.4 percent. Barcelona are in fourth with an 8.9 percent chance, while Paris Saint-Germain comes next at 6.5 percent. Manchester City are ranked seventh, with a 6.2 percent probability of winning. Inter Milan, Bayer Leverkusen, and Atalanta also feature in the top ten most likely winners, according to the supercomputer. Aston Villa sits in eleventh place, with only a 1.5 percent chance of claiming the trophy.
