Both these problems were gone in the second season, therefore, Evil Geniuses started to take lead in North America and eventually made it to the majors from first place.
Did we expect we would make it to the major before the tie-breaks? I think yes, that was our aim. It's a deja vu, it was like last year between us, Quincy Crew, and Team Undying. It was hard to predict the outcome of the match against TSM. I think it's good when there is competition in the region. If you compared TSM a year ago and now, you can see that they are playing better, so you have to give them credit. Moreover, they have kept their roster. I didn't expect an easy victory, but it was pleasing to win.
Evil Geniuses are a unique team that shows cool results almost at any tournament and in any roster. Last year, it took second place at majors twice but failed at TI10. Now Evil Geniuses have some young blood, which should help the team return to its former level. Evil Geniuses should take at least third place. It would be a satisfactory result for them.
