3 Hong Kong and Hutchison Global Communications (HGC) are readying the launch of big value LeSports Super Sports Pack bundles, to feature sporting action such as English Premier League football.
Coverage will be delivered by 3 HK and 3Home Broadband via 4G LTE and WiFi networks, as well as home broadband services.
Jennifer Tan, COO of parent firm Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong, said that in 2014, Hutchison partnered with LeEco to launch Hong Kong's first bundling of 4K home broadband and entertainment content, which opened up a new era of home OTT entertainment.
Tan said collaboration with LeSports is about transmission of its content via four platforms to serve smartphones, TVs, laptops and tablets.
“The move also allows us to provide mobile and fixed-line customers with super value-for-money monthly tariff plans that will keep them up to speed with world sporting events anytime, anywhere,” said Tan.
3 HK has designed two packages so football fans can watch action on smart devices at special rates. New and select existing customers can apply for the Super Sports Data Pack, which comes complete with 1GB data every month. Subscribers are able to watch English Premier League and other sports programming for two years.
The Super Sports and Entertainment Pack was tailored to suit "night owl" viewers, as well as football fans. In addition, 3 HK's 4G LTE customers can benefit from unlimited WiFi.
