ABS-CBN’s The Filipino Channel (TFC) has tapped quadruple-play service provider Singtel TV to reach out to more overseas Filipinos in Singapore.
ABS-CBN said it has launched the TFC and added Lifestyle Network and ABS-CBN Sports + Action on Singtel TV.
With these additions, Filipinos living in Singapore can now enjoy programming from ABS-CBN, and content tailor-fit for their lifestyles from TFC.
Lifestyle Network is offered as a destination channel to as many viewers as possible who are interested in food, home and travel, while ABS-CBN Sports + Action is a male-targeted channel that provides live sports content as well as travel shows and action movies.
“Filipinos in the Singapore have been clamoring for well-loved content from the Philippines and the company of our (talents),” said Ailene Averion, ABS-CBN Global Managing Director for Asia Pacific.
“Singtel TV’s carriage of TFC, Lifestyle Network and ABS-CBN Sports + Action Channel would not only mean that more Filipinos in Singapore will get the best and widest range of content from the homeland from ABS-CBN and exclusive shows from TFC, but also a taste of home,” she said.
