ADVA Optical Networking has rolled out its FSP 150EG-X edge gateway, which promises cost-effective capacity, scalability and resiliency for carrier Ethernet access and backhaul networks.

The product combines scalability with operational simplicity and enables service providers to migrate toward a universal, Ethernet-centric network architecture below the provider edge.

The FSP 150EG-X provides a central aggregation solution, acts as a timing gateway for synchronization services and includes the termination of pseudowire services.

It enables service providers to scale their carrier Ethernet backhaul offering to address larger applications, while providing a manageable, cost-effective platform that is optimized to deliver intelligent services.
