Japanese multi-play service provider Jupiter Communications (J:COM) has chosen Amdocs for its customer management requirements.
Under the deal, Amdocs will upgrade its J:COM's existing Amdocs billing system to address the service provider's future growth and manage billing for multi-play products and services.
Amdocs will continue its partnership with Sumisho Computer Systems, a local systems integrator, for this project.
As part of this customer management system replacement, J:COM will deploy Amdocs Smart Agent Desktop, an agent portal that provides a unified desktop to manage all customer interactions regardless of where the information resides, and supports first-call resolution.
