Strengthening its foothold on the industry, Amdocs has secured new contracts from Tier 1 and 2 service providers in Europe and North America, as well as implemented major deployments at a number of large European service providers.
The company has likewise acquired some firms that will help enhance its offerings - including Cramer and Jacobs Rimell - and rolled out new products that support the network planning process.
These new products, launched in the last six months, include the Resource Planner, Planning Engine, Trend Planner and Site Planner. Amdocs says its planning portfolio delivers a new approach to planning, to enable service providers to deliver "just in time" network plan and build.
