CommScope unit Andrew Solutions has released a patent-pending functionality to its easy-to-use i.Scan digital scanner that makes measuring GSM channels easier.
Andrew has added new proprietary signal processing techniques to i.Scan, which more rapidly filter out wideband signals and analyze GSM channels in a mixed technology cellular environment.
The result is faster scan rates than those that occur when traditional scanning receivers try to decode mixed radio frequency signals, freeing network testers to utilize better the processing power of i.Scan.
The i.Scan digital scanning receiver is capable of measuring and decoding GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, EV-DO, HSDPA and LTE technologies, as desired.
