APAC broadband revenue to hit $7.1 billion by 2015

Mobile broadband revenue in the developed Asia-Pacific region is forecast to grow almost threefold to $7.1 billion in 2015 from $2.4 billion in 2009, according to the latest report by Analysys Mason.

The report also projects the total number of mobile broadband connections in these markets to grow at a CAGR of 28% from 6.2 million in 2009 to 27.2 million in 2015.

Penetration will rise from 2.6% of the population in 2009 to 11.3% in 2015.
