Apple App Store sales pass $10b in '13

Apple customers worldwide spent over $10 billion on the App Store in 2013, including over $1 billion in December.
Some 3 billion apps were downloaded during December, making it most successful month in App Store history.
Announcing the milestones, Apple said the additional features and APIs from OS 7 contributed to the strong demand for apps during the period.
The company added that the App Store now offers more than one million apps to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users in 155 countries around the world.
