Argyle Data and Cloudera demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress their joint technology platform to battle fraud for mobile service providers.

Argyle Data's application suite has been optimized to deliver peak levels of performance and availability with Cloudera Enterprise, and achieved certification with Cloudera in recognition of this accomplishment.

In response to growing demand, Argyle Data has recently expanded its global footprint by signing partnership agreements with leading service providers including business intelligence expert Proxy in Europe, digital forensic innovators Pyramid Cyber Security and Forensic in India and MEA, security specialists Kalostec in Latin America and telecoms service provider Kropmann Communications in Africa.

These moves highlight the increasing need among the global operator community for new methods of preventing mobile fraud, which currently costs the industry at least $38 billion per year.

Visitors to Argyle Data at the Cloudera booth during Mobile World Congress received copies of the publication, “Fighting Future Fraud.” Authored by mobile communications experts and visionaries, the book describes how the latest strategies for using big data, machine learning, data lakes and native Hadoop-based technologies are changing the face of fraud detection and prevention.
