New features have been added to BlackBerry Maps, including extended coverage of 34 new countries such as Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, New Zealand, The Philippines and Taiwan.
New points-of-interest databases for hospitals, universities/colleges, police stations, train/subway stations, shopping centers, parking, parks and airports were also added wherever available.
BlackBerry devices must be updated first before extended coverage and visual optimization can be accessed.
Some of the new features are not available on legacy OS versions.
