PCCW will use Nokia's Intellisync platform for its mobile business service. The service, branded as PUSH email, will be available later this month.

The number of CDMA2000 users passed the 350 million mark at the end of Q1, the CDMA Development Group said. Total 2G and 3G CDMA subs is 387 million.

Billing and OSS firm Intec increased first half revenues by 6.5% to £61.3m, according to unaudited results Tuesday. However, it made an operating loss of £8.0m after impairment charge and exceptional items of £10.9m.
