Nokia Siemens Networks is to provide China Mobile Beijing with a turnkey push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) system. Delivery of the system began in May. The products are capable of supporting tens of millions of users in a single network.

Huawei remains the world's biggest DSLAM producer, with more than 50 million lines installed, according to research firm Infonetics. The Shenzhen-based vendor, which introduced the world's first commercial DSLAM in 2001, says it has been no.1 in the market for the past four years.

Network service quality control vendor Operax and BEE MediaSoft, a subsidiary of DMX Technologies Group, have agreed to extend BEE's IPTV solution with Operax bandwidth management products.
