Policy control service provider BroadHop said it has developed the framework to allow real-time communication between CSPs and subscribers.

The Smartphone Application Framework, which currently supports the iPhone and Android OS, has been designed to allow subscribers to select their quality of service level depending on individual needs.

It allows mobile, policy-based applications to be bundled with a smartphone or downloaded by a subscriber from an app store.

BroadHop CEO William Diotte said he hoped to usher in a new era he calls Policy 2.0 with the framework, as well as its Quantum Network Suite.
