Cable&Wireless has launched its next-generation network known as the Multi-Service Platform in India, being the first international telecom provider to receive from the Indian government all necessary security clearances.
Supporting more than 150 multinational and Indian customers, with service coverage across key cities in India, the new network will have multiple levels of transmission and cable redundancies to ensure seamless business continuity to the customers.
The new network has been designed to deliver sub-second re-routing of traffic via alternative cable systems, ensuring minimal impact to businesses should any cable failure occur.
