Governors in southern US states hit by hurricanes are encouraging people to send proof of unscrupulous price gouging.

NBC News says that Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has asked residents to send cellphone pictures of gas station signs with exorbitant gasoline prices. Louisiana is soliciting cell photos as well and has received 1,000 cellphone complaints of price gouging after Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
