Level 3 Communications and China Telecom signed an agreement to expand Level 3’s video cloud services.

The agreement is expected to expand Level 3’s video services for customers.

China represents one of the fastest growing markets for video consumption and production globally, Level 3 said. The agreement with China Telecom will allow Level 3 to offer content distribution in the region, the company added.

China Telecom will also provide access to Level 3's video cloud services for its content customers who are looking to expand their own global audience base.

Nodes will initially be deployed in Hong Kong, with additional expansion planned across the region.
