Ovum has recently conducted in-depth consumer surveys of European broadband customers, and the results shed some light on the factors influencing customer churn.

This paper discusses the main reasons customers intend to switch ISP, emphasising that service providers wishing to reduce churn should focus on increasing value for customers, while maintaining high levels of customer service.
