Comprion has unveiled a solution for LTE/USIM handset conformance testing according to 3GPP TS 31.121 USIM Release 8.
The product dubbed Comperion SIMfony LTE consists of the Rohde & Schwarz network simulator R&S CMW500 and the GCF/PTCRB (Global Certification Forum/PCS Type Certification Review Board) validated (U)SIM simulator IT Platform for conformance testing.
The IT Platform is a fully configurable analog and logical card simulator for testing mobile handsets and smart card interface technologies.
The R&S CMW500 enables the possibility to run test cases using several radio access technologies on a single box, which is also necessary for new USIM TCs requiring an LTE/W-CDMA or LTE/GSM environment.
