Comptel said it has received a “significant” order from Australia’s NBN Co for Comptel Fulfillment through a deal of at least 1.3 million euros (about $1.8 million) related to software licenses and services.

This deal is an extension for an engagement first made in 2011.

Also, Comptel and Tech Mahindra have set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at the latter’s Hinjewadi facility in Pune, India, to support communications service providers (CSPs) with their complex OSS/BSS transformation projects.

The CoE is focused on developing and enabling CSPs with fulfillment solutions that support their service innovation and delivery objectives.

In the new lab, operators are able to experience Comptel’s suite, including catalog, order management, logical inventory, and provisioning and activation capabilities, in action.
