Comverse has unveiled a new ultra-high capacity configuration for its Mobile Internet HUB platform to manage growing data traffic growth without the immediate need to build out network infrastructure.

With a throughput of up to 40Gbps, the platform handles tens of thousands of web transactions per second yet requires only a single cabinet of front-end servers.

Gabriel Matsliach, Comverse's president of products and operations, said the solution allows operators to delay expensive capital outlays and lower operating costs.

Such capacity is made possible by the optimized processing core, controlled by an accurate and efficient real-time smart service policy manager, enhanced with fully integrated deep packet inspection.
