Device characteristics such as large LCDs and even stylish appearances compel users to access more mobile applications or download mobile content. According to M:Metrics, the Sanyo SCP-8200 and five Motorola models, including the RAZR, are among the top ten handsets with the highest conversion rates in the US market due to their large and bright LCDs, which are conducive for browser-based services and game downloading, and sleek looks. Even handset makers Samsung and LG outdo Nokia in terms of conversion rate. M:Metrics says Nokia's focus on the prepaid and lower-spending markets have contributed to its low conversion rate.
