The GSMA said Dialog Telekom has signed up for the GSMA-managed PathFinder service operated by NeuStar.

PathFinder provides the missing link for operators as they make the move to all-IP mobile networks, tackling critical issues around routing, interoperability, number resolution and service and revenue assurance, according to GSMA.

By automatically translating phone numbers into IP addresses, PathFinder will help Dialog Telekom to facilitate the delivery of a wide variety of new feature-rich, IP-based services as well as ensure quality of service.

The service is available to mobile and fixed service providers as well as the full value chain including carriers, IPXs, hubs, ISPs, content and application providers.
